There are at least 2 metal bands named Human Remains: 1) Human Remains was a death metal band that formed in Louisville, Kentucky in 1990 and members later went on to rename themselves Crawlspace and then My Own Victim. 2) Human Remains formed in Hazlet, New Jersey in 1989. Their style shifted from death metal early in their career to more of a grind/noisecore sound on later releases. The band split up in 1996. Former members of Human Remains have gone on to play in Deadguy, Municipal Waste, East West Blast Test, Burnt By The Sun, Discordance Axis, Gridlink, Deny The Cross and No Faith.
