“The Dentist and The Toothfairy” is one of the music projects of Hugh Herrera. The adventures of hannah presents “The Dentist and The Toothfairy” a modern tale about love and obsession. The book is a collaborative effort of literature, artwork, and a soundtrack by local DJ Hugh Herrera; the first in a series between author Dorota Skrzypek and artist Jerome Prieur. Dorota and Jerome met in Montreal through a mutual friend. A friendship quickly flourished that led to many more trips to Montreal. It was on one such trip that Dorota noticed a painting hanging on Jerome’s wall. “I became so entranced that I decided to buy it that night – even though I had never bought a piece of artwork in my life”. This painting led to the writing of “The Dentist and The Toothfairy”, a story about a dentist’s journey, his struggle between the man he once was and the man he wants to be, the decisions that force him to face his past, and his duel with love. After completing the story Dorota had a vision of what she wanted the finished product to look like and opened her own publishing company: the adventures of hannah. Her hope is to cater to authors and artist’s that want to present a distinct product to their audience; a unique blend of ideas and expressions - not just words on paper - but as if a movie in the palm of your hand.
