Slovak band playing "therapeutic pop". Music From Mars come into being in 1996 as a group of friends playing punk and ska. They are originally from Trnava, Slovakia. In 1999 they produce their debut album - Supervylet (Supertrip). It is the mixture of funny and sad songs connected by sayings from homonymous movie - Music From Mars. The combination of Slavonic melody and modern electronic and guitar popmusic is the specialty of Music From Mars. Rich arranged songs withs simple melodies and cosmic sounds are typic for second album - Cosmodisc published in 2001 by Monti Records in collaboration with Warner Music. The actual album - Travnice (Grass Songs) is published by Gregor Agency-G.A. Records in 2005. It contains 13 tracks included 1 remix, 3 videos and a virtual songbook with chord signs. "Travnice" - in English something like "grass songs" is originally the name of ancient Slovak songs sang by mowers. People on the meadows and grasslands sang droning songs by mowing and raking the grass and the mountains replied them like echo.
