Hortto Kaalo is a Finnish gypsy music band that started its career in 1969. The original band members were Feija Åkerlund, Marko Putkonen, Taisto Lundberg and Heikki Nyman. Since then line-ups have changed but Åkerlund and Putkonen have been part of the band all the while. Hortto Kaalo's two first records both sold gold in Finland.
