Hopeless Romantic is the alter-ego, or stage name, of the singer-songwriter Kingsley Sia. As a 19 year old living in the busy city of Kuala Lumpur, he writes songs as something to remind him of the various experiences in life. His songs are usually about the girls he love, but he also writes about his friends, family, and basically everything about life. As a band, Hopeless Romantic Project consists of Peklyn (bassist), Xianjin (second guitarist) and Marcus (drummer). At the moment, Peklyn is away in Singapore to further her studies. That is the reason why Hopeless Romantic Project could not record as a group and play shows. Unless, of course, a replacement bassist comes along. Currently, the band is looking for a bassist to join in playing gigs.
