Hope is the Thing with Feathers is an Ambient/Rock band from Nashville, TN. Band members include: June Hammett, Hailee Vance, Sam Hunter, Chris Vicari, John Melick, and Ryan Gorgol. These kids met in college at Belmont University and had been in rock bands before but decided one day to start something new. Influences like Mogwai and The Album Leaf led them to start a new project to experiment with known as Hope is the Thing with Feathers. The band recorded a few songs and played around Nashville for a few years and decided to part ways and start new projects.
