DC area based rock band HONOR BY AUGUST has shared the stage with artists including Bon Jovi, Hootie & the Blowfish, Hanson, Howie Day, Pat McGee Band, Virginia Coalition, Ingram Hill, Aslyn, Michael Tolcher, State Radio and Stephen Kellogg & the Sixers playing to crowds as large as 20,000 in venues including the Verizon Center (DC) McDonough Arena (DC), the 9:30 Club (DC), the State Theater (VA) and Cain’s Ballroom (OK). HONOR BY AUGUST won the grand prize in Billboard World Song Contest as well as the Bon Jovi / XM Radio "Have a Nice Gig" Contest, to open for BON JOVI in a sold-out show at the MCI Center (now Verizon Center, capacity 20,000).
