Formed in June 2020, Montreal-based indie band “Honeywaves” started out with a couple of jazz students trying to form a shoegaze or a post-punk band. Most of the band studied at Saint-Laurent Cegep in Montreal, QC. Their influences include but are not limited to: The Cure, Alvvays, Sweet Trip, Pixies, Yo La Tengo and Siouxsie and the Banshees.
