There is more than one artist with this name: 1) Homespun features Rotheray (beautiful south) and Sam Brown (daughter of 1960s hit maker Joe Brown). The band has released three albums to date which are known for their relaxed lofi/folksy/jazzy feel. 2) Homespun is an italian electronic music artist; he has released a promo titled "When I was the first man on the moon". 3) Homespun is a Finnish indie rock/pop band - they have released EPs, "Fabio Fitness & more" (1996) and "Sails in the skies" (1998). Their debut album Série Noire was released 2012. 4) Homespun formed in Rhyl 1998. The band gigged extensively in North Wales and surrounding areas (Liverpool, Manchester, Chester, etc) building a reputation and fan base, playing support slots for “The Damned”, “UK Subs”, “Spunge” and more. “Sexready Mind Control” their new album: 6 tracks were recorded and produced by Ronnie Stone (Pixies, Sonic Youth, Mansun,) at Parr Street Studios (Liverpool) the rest of the album was recorded by the band in their own studio. Tracks from the album have been played by UK and America radio shows, and world wide by podcasters. Response to the album has been over whelming, with the band considering deals from labels in both UK and the USA.
