Homeless Sexuals are a 5 piece "full contact rock -n- roll " band from San Diego CA . That mixes rock -n- roll, punk , poetry & performance art. The band was formed by vocalist David Buck (DAVIT) in idea around 1999. After years of trying to find members the band finally took place in 2003. Rob McDonald (guitar), Travis Poe (bass) & Raul Campunzano (drums) from the band THE MICE decided start a project with Davit. He convinced them to use the name Homeless sexuals. The band practiced as a 4 piece for about a month then Travis decided to switch from bass to guitar. Andrew Donoghue,(bass) from THE WATRELS joined the band and they played their first show in 2003. The first show lasted about less than a minute before a small riot broke out inside of the now defunct SCOLARIS OFFICE(now called (THE OFFICE), After flying fist, bottles &spilt blood Davit jumped on the bar and started screaming "you fuckers don't know what rock -n- roll is". He was ejected from the bar and almost arrested. The band got a write up about the first show and the second show was packed. They played a year with Raul then after a show at ZOMBIE LOUNGE now called (THE RADIOROOM), Raul quit after Davit climbed on top of the amps and spilt a pitcher of beer into Robs amp, Then somone threw a bottle at Davit and almost hit Raul in the head, he quit that night, Chris replaced Raul and changed the sound of the band leaving behind the earlier punk sound and headed into more of a post punk ro
