Holiday Unheard Of was a post-hardcore/alternative rock band from Portland, Oregon, United States. The band from the outskirts of Portland, Oregon blended alternative and indie influences to create an audio collage of sinuous pianos and melodies, along with driving guitars and passionate screams from lead vocalist Jared Johnson. Quickly added to the mix were Keegan Bledsoe on guitar and Keaton Scheible on bass. Since the fall of 2005, lead guitarist Chris Scott and drummer Robby McVey were added. The band has shared the stage with a variety of acts, including Tooth & Nail acts Spoken and The Classic Crime, A Change Of Pace and The Receiving End Of Sirens, favorites Punchline and Spitalfield, and a host of other popular artists. The band was signed to Standby Records and released the EP Carta Marina in 2008 and a single in 2009 called Winds. Recorded at Interlace Audio with Kris Crummett.
