Hobo Junction formed in 1990, based out of Oakland, California. As an active part of the West Coast hip-hop movement, they released their first effort " Whoriden." The underground success of the song resulted in the group forming Hobo Records in 1994. For the next couple of years, the label produced several albums, singles, and EPs for the group. In 2000, Hobo Junction departed from their label to release The Cleaners on Baraka Records.Their single, "Rock The Show" was also used for DJ Serg's debut mix album, Golden State of Mind User-contributed text is available under the Creative Commons By-SA License; additional terms may apply.
