Hjertesorg (no., "heartache") was a five-piece from Bodø, NO formed in 2005, playing mournful, introspective metal-/emocore. Though only an active act for six months, the band performed a fair number of gigs and recorded several demos. Most of the core members of the band is active in various other norwegian projects today, like Kråkesølv, The Love Between Gods, Julius Androide and Kollwitz. Hjertesorg's lineup consisted of Fredrik Olsen (guitar), Frederik Hillestad (vocals), Edvard Karlsen (guitar), Thomas Litangen (bass guitar), Egil Ursin (drums, -september 05) and lately Thomas Hanssen (drums, november 05-).
