HIT & RUN does this nicely. You ever have the feeling of standing there at the end of the show, all alone, abandoned by everyone around you out of fear, picking up your own guts? No? Go see HIT & RUN and you will understand the feeling. On stage.....the first note rings out.....and they take you by the throat and do not let up until they ring out the last note of their set list. At 10,000 rpm, HIT & RUN hits rock & roll’s red line. Fast enough to make a methhead flinch, with driving guitars that delivers a punch at decibels on par with Motorhead in a closet. The drummer and bassist put together a rhythm section that should be charged with assault. This is speedrock delivered at it’s maximum potential. HIT & RUN blasted on to the scene in Texas, early in 2006 and have not shown a sign of slowing down, or rather backing down yet. Lit Monthly said it best in a 2008 review: "Hit & Run barely has time to bother, as they beat and blast relentlessly forward". There is nothing weak about these guys. With their own brand of Punk/Speed Rock, they can hold their own with the titans of the genre.
