His Name Is Codeine is a dark/psychedelic/noisepop band from Elgin in the north east of Scotland. Formed in 2010, they debuted their current lineup of Lyn Ralph (Vocals/Bass/Drum looper), Marc Roy (Guitars/Vocals) and Mark Simpson (Guitars/Vocals) in December of that year. Since then they have been gaining a reputation for their intense live shows across Scotland.
