The Hipshakes, The Last Next Big Thing from England according to Goner Records! Andrew, Daniel and Bruce bought instruments and formed The Hipshakes at the age of 16 and ‘learned’ to play them. Now, 6 years later they are here to unleash ‘songs’ on people. Having been cruelly rejected by most people in their own country they follow the footsteps of the Real Losers and Black Time, off their boring isle to more exciting locations around the Globe. Recently, the Hipshakes have entertained in the USA, Canada, Portugal, Germany, Holland, Belgium, France, Sardinia and at home in the UK, and now they’re coming to your town! Hopefully… An album and single on American label Slovenly, singles on Goner, Die Slaughterhaus, Tic Tac Totally and Show and Tell, and European Fistful of Records are soon to be followed up with newies on Slovenly, Rob’s House, Red Lounge and Shake Your Ass / Menotropic allowing you to recreate the magic in your living rooms.
