Highball Shooters is a funk/rock band from Helsingborg, Sweden. The band was established in Christmas of 2005 by Alex Ljunggren and Christoffer Asplund. After playing a couple of songs together, they released a demo entitled "Voodoo Dance" in April 2006. The demo got the attetion of Bjorn "Speed" Strid (voice of Soilwork) and he auditioned for a singer position in Highball Shooters. Having Strid as a vocalist, the band recorded their second demo "Lovestruck" in December 2006.
