High Safari are an alternative/pop duo based in Bournemouth and London. The band was formed in 2011 after we met at Sheffield University and bonded over a love for The Shins and Elliott Smith. After writing together for a year, we headed into a studio on a small budget and limited time; recording, producing and mixing our debut album, ‘Skylight’, in one week. Additional female vocals were provided by Sophie Finnigan. We have released the album onto Bandcamp where it is available to stream in its entirety and download for free at any time. We are soon to release the video to our first single ‘Hey Hombre!‘. This will be followed by a return to the studio for a new EP, ready for shows currently being booked for this Summer/Autumn.
