High Priest of Saturn was a heavy psychedelic rock/doom metal band from Trondheim, Sør-Trøndelag, Norway. The band was a three piece consisting of Merethe Heggset on bass guitar and vocals, also of the band Resonaut guitarist Martin Sivertsen and also of Resonaut Andreas Hagen on drums as well as guitars. Complementing the band on their debut album was the sound of Ole Kristian Malmedal's organs. The album, simply titled High Priest of Saturn, was released on 13 September 13 2012. The band also had a demo dated August 23 2011. They released Son of Earth and Sky on February 26 2016. Then they split up. See Bandcamp for releases.
