There are 2 bands with the name High Jinks: 1)High Jinks are a hardcore band from Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. Hometown favorites with confrontational lyrics about the community they come from. They have released several demos over the past few years which have made their way around both of Alberta's major cities and onto the internet. 2)A folk band from the UK. The Musicians: Steve Hodgskiss, plays keyboard and concertina, and has been the backbone of the band for over ten years. He has written quite a few pieces in the band’s repertoire. Kate Fuggle, plays keyboard and flute and has also contributed to the band’s repertoire Tony Mannion, is a traditional musician with Irish roots. He plays Irish Bouzouki and Melodeon. Milly Chadband, founder of High Jinks, plays fiddle, and is herself an experienced dancer and caller. They have published a CD “High Five from High Jinks” and an accompanying booklet of original dances and tunes. High Jinks have appeared at Eastbourne, Lichfield, Whitby and Sidmouth Festivals, and at various one-day festivals and events.
