Artist
Hiba Mansouri is a Lebanese singer known for her soft and emotional voice, influenced by classical Arabic music from the 1950s and 1960s. Born in Kuwait in 1980, she was immersed in traditional Arabic music during her childhood. She initially pursued political science and later switched to law at the Lebanese University. Her musical career gained momentum through collaborations with Lebanese producer Zeid Hamdan. Together, they recorded several tracks, including a video for the song "Ahwak," and performed in Lebanon and internationally, such as in Düsseldorf in 2009. Although she signed with MTV Lebanon's owner, Jihad El Murr, in December 2009, plans for an album release did not materialize. Nevertheless, her tracks have been featured in compilations and movie soundtracks, and she continues to perform occasionally in Beirut. Some of her notable songs include "Soulaima," released as a single in 2012, and "Fog El Nakhal," a collaboration with Zeid Hamdan. Her music is available on platforms like Apple Music and Spotify, where she has approximately 290 monthly listeners.
