Artist
Born in Buenos Aires on 30 October 1981. He began his musical studies as a self-taught musician at the age of 7. His teachers were Diego Schissi, Guillermo Romero, Claudio Spector and Sergio Morales. In 2003, he was awarded a scholarship to study at Berklee College of Music, Boston. In 2006, he made an extensive European tour of 25 concerts in Austria, Switzerland, Germany and Croatia. In 2009, he was honoured by the Clarín Awards as "Revelation Jazz Musician". He was part of Pedro Aznar's band, with whom he toured extensively around the world. He has ceveral albums to his name: Lua (2011), Continuo (2014), Acto 1 (2015), Camino (2016), Acto 2 (2017), Viaje y Epílogo (2017), Shouting (2018), Tauro (2021) and Hope (2022). In 2017 he won his first Latin Grammy for his work as a sound engineer. Throughout his career he had the opportunity to play, record and share projects with musicians such as: Luis Alberto Spinetta, Pedro Aznar, Hugo Fattoruso, Danilo Pérez, Paul Wertico, Darryl Jones, Rubén Rada, Fito Páez, Miguel Zenon, Robby Ameen , George Garzone, Christian Gálvez, Juan Quintero, Carlos Aguirre, Javier Malosetti, Ben Monder, Illya Kuryaki, Tim Ries, and many other artists from the country and the rest of the world. He currently forms his trio with Pipi Piazzolla and Jerónimo Carmona. He also forms an electric trio with Pablo González and Andrés Pellican.
