The band took its name from Herman Hesse’s Steppenwolf and is founded in 1991 in Sofia, Bulgaria. Their first album "I" is a huge success for the relatively unknown band. The biggest hit to emerge from this album is Keep On Rockin’ which gains good airplay ratio and the video is one of the most frequently played on various TV-channels. In August 1993 the band is opening for Alvin Lee Band in Sofia and launches a big tour in the country. In 1998 Riva Sound release their last album "IV" (both on CD and MC) and this is, by all means, the best music HERMAN’S WOLF BAND ever produced and is the ultimate proof of their talent with its clean music concept, supported by the authentic rock sound and supreme performance.
