Artist
Stalwart members of the Brighton, UK Metal Scene, Here There Be Monsters quickly affirmed themselves as a live revelation, touring both within the UK and Europe. "A wild, gnarly mixture of seething hardcore, spastic grind, ultra-dark screaming and vein-popping punk-metal. This sound is very refreshing in its disregard for convention and has plenty of breathless, fidgety grooves to raise the pulse. 8/10" Terrorizer Magazine "A monumental clash of no compromise brutal hardcore and tectonic thrashes smashing together, emitting some intensely fierce vocal fury and gritty Blues-based riffs in honour of the late great Dimebag - or in their own words, 'no bullshit downtuned metal.' A seriously refreshing new balence to the tiresome metal/hardcore pack." Metal Hammer Magazine History: Formed in 2007, HTBM was brought together from the disbandment of Naked Ape and Risen. After a year together recording a demo which saw positive reviews from UK press and a tour of Holland, bassist Nickel decided to move onto new ventures, shortly taking up residency in another rock of the Brighton Metal Scene Furyon. Long time friend of the band Rich Langridge, formerly of Cast The Bones stepped in. The band began writing new material and entered the studio in late 2009 to record their debut EP. Featuring four face ripping tracks from their live set Canine Vs Feline and Welcome To Barbados the EP also welcomed two new tracks Driven and Trojans, the latter being included on a cover CD of the best
