Here Knows When is a 3-piece rock outfit comprising of Charlie Howard, Garreth Reardon and Sam Miller whose ambitious approach towards song writing has manifested itself in a set of original, diverse and sombre sounds. The band draws inspiration from a large number of acts with the guitar-driven atmospherics of early 80’s British post-punk and seasoned 4AD artists of the 80’s and 90’s contributing notably to the dynamic and creative drive of the group. More than one year in the making, Here Knows When's debut full length 'Oceans After' is an ambitious statement of intent which delves deep into the complexities of the human condition to deliver songs that are powerful, unyielding, and musically dense. 'Slide', the first single to be released from the album is an indie rock cannonball, driven by propulsive drum beats, shimmery guitar hooks and brooding vocals. It features a highly accomplished and stimulating video clip from award winning directors and sound designers Caroline and Toby Stocker. ‘Oceans After’ will be released independently on November 20th through HR Records.
