Artist
Henrik (Hinrich) Philip Johnsen (1717-1779) was a Swedish composer, harpsichordist, organist and conductor, probably of German origin. Johnsen came to Sweden in 1743 as a member of the Adolf Fredrik Royal Orchestra . Later he became organist of the Klara Church in Stockholm and from 1763 to 1771 he was the conductor of the french theater Franska Comoedien. He was one of the founders and the first librarian of the Royal Music Academy, where he also taught music theory .
