Henri Martelli was a French composer born in Bastia February 25, 1895. He died in Paris on 15 July 1980. Biography He was a pupil of Georges Caussade and Widor at the Paris Conservatoire. In 1919, he obtained a law degree from the University of Paris. He was program director of chamber music on the radio from 1940 to 1944, secretary of the Société Nationale de Musique and president of the French section of the ISCM in 1953. He wrote - in a neo-classical style - many works of chamber music, and operas and radio.
