Being engaged in many different projects before, Ozan Çanak, Uygar Çetiner and Mert Hocaoğlu started publishing their own music with their band called Help! The Captain Threw Up in early 2010. In the following months, they performed in various venues and festivals with the contributions of Tolga Çelik both on stage and at recording sessions. The band reached its final formation with the inclusion of Aytaç Fener, Yasemin Özler and Ozan Çalı.
