Hellchild started out in 1987 as a thrash/death metal act from Tokyo, Japan! They shared stages with the likes of Casbah, Jurassic Jade, Outrage (Jpn), Shell Shock and Rose Rose. Hellchild released 4 full-length studio albums. They've split up after releasing a split album with Converge in 2001. All members except the guitarist went on to form the band From Hell.
