Artist
Heidi Muller is an award-winning, touring songwriter, guitarist, mountain dulcimer player and teacher. In her 30 years of performing, she has released six critically-acclaimed recordings and been a featured performer in concert halls, coffeehouses, radio broadcasts and festivals nationwide including the Kerrville Folk Festival, Kentucky Music Week and Mountain Stage. She has shared stages with Nanci Griffith, Tom Paxton, Ramblin' Jack Elliott, Jean Ritchie, Bill Staines and many others. In Washington State, her song "Good Road" has been the theme of Northwest Public Radio's Inland Folk show since 1989. Heidi is described by Dulcimer Players’ News as “one of the dulcimer community’s best songwriters and performers.” She is known for her crystalline alto voice, compelling lyrics and warm stage presence. Originally from northwest New Jersey, she lived in Seattle for 19 years before returning east. She currently resides in Charleston, West Virginia where she frequently performs with multi-instrumentalist Bob Webb.
