Heart-land is the heavy metal/progressive metal/instrumental solo project of Jordan Bartolomeo. All the songs are created essentially on a low-budget; however, without sacrificing heart and effort. Jordan performs all instruments on every track, although the drums are created using a drum machine. The varying differences between production values are basically due to the space between recordings, earlier songs have a very green and poor production whereas later songs have a crisp, more refined approach. The instrumental form of the songs is mainly due to the absence of a competent singer; however, the music contains many dynamics that keep the audiences attention. The Heart-land recordings are far from perfect, yet far from amateur. An E.P. entitled the "Heartland E.P." has been created with a collection of the past 3 years best material.
