Born in 1979 in Recife and living in São Paulo since 1998, Leonardo Faria is the person behind Headphone L. He started his affair with music at the age of 10, studying keyboards for 5 years, but only started composing his own stuff later - in 2003 - influenced by artists like Faust, Brian Eno, Cluster, Solex and Silver Apples. His main occupation used to be photography. Music making started only as a hobby, but things started growing and he started taking it seriously. By the end of 2003 he had an demo album produced and was recording with indie brazilian artists like Lulina. He also has collaborated with video-artists, providing soundtracks for their works.
