And so to Headcount, Oxford based noisy sorts. Formed in 1999 by Rob Moss (guitars & vocals), Stef Hale (drums) and Rob Jeffrey (bass) Headcount have a belligerent but melodic sensibility, being referred to as “hell bound pig-fucking devil dogs” and sounding like “Adam and the Ants being sodomised by Therapy?”. That should give you an idea. Is it punk? Is it metal? Is it rock? All mere labels don’t you know.
