Artist
Haynes & Mckenna were ex-members of the band Intimacy who continued writing and rehearsing together for several months after their former group split up in the summer of 1983. Paul Haynes, bassist, also took over vocals and lyric writing and Robert McKenna took charge of all guitar duties. They never played live but did write and record two tracks, "Funny How Things Change" and "Sunsets and Shadows", with ex-Intimacy drummer Tommy, sitting in on drums. The tapes of the demo have not worn the test of time too well and the second track "Sunsets and Shadows" has a flaw in it two thirds of the way through. But it was felt this did not detract too much from the overall effect of the track and so has been included. The first track "Funny How Things Change" is in pretty much pristine conditon. The duo split up shortly afterwards after all their equipment was stolen. User-contributed text is available under the Creative Commons By-SA License; additional terms may apply.
