Hayfield are David Hayden and John Caulfield aged 22 and 23 who have a passion for music is 2nd to none. They Met in school when they were 12 and have been best friend's ever since. There love for music came about when they were 13 when they came across a computer game for the playstation called Music. They fell in love with it instantly and the thrill of music making only increased further. As time went on different Music game came out and when Music Generator 2000 came out they started to dabble in melody writing because the game gave them free rain of the sequencer so they started to develop a nack for composing and arranging and also writing melodies. Wanting to further themselves again they realized they would have to get better equipment to run with the big boy's so it started small so at 15 David bought a computer equipped with Reason and set out trying to master it. It didn’t take long before David was familiar with the programme and they started to make music once again. At first both David and John would sit up in David's room blasting out idea's till they were blue in the face. But set out to find there feet and style. Heavily influenced by the band's of the 80's such as Depeche Mode,Yazoo,The System,Kraftwerk,Giorgio Moroder to name but a few they set out to find a style and a sound.
