Hat Museum is mostly Matthew Boycott-Garnett. In fact, so far, Hat Museum is mostly in his head. However, it's been growing at a steady pace for a very long time and it's starting to push it's way out. Matthew's recently started a popular music degree at Man Met and is keen to get some of the people he's met there playing some of his music. He's been messing about with his keyboard, guitar, bass and imagination in his bedroom in halls and is so excited about what might come from this that he's already chosen a name under which to present this material. Become a fan at this early stage and you'll be sure to be made very aware once it's time for you to have a listen to the results. http://www.facebook.com/pages/Hat-Museum/35709538105 The Hat Museum tracks you can currently listen to on last fm are VERY old and are songs that Matthew recorded for an album called 'Do You Want To Call This Poetry?' at least five years ago. A lot has changed since then and when the new tracks are available this will be immediately obvious. Ideas from some of the currently available tracks could resurface but will most probably sound nothing much like the originals and all the better for it. Although Matthew recognises a certain promise in these older tracks, he thinks it's mostly all about what is still to come and whereas it is nice for these tracks to be made available for whoever cares - you should absolutely wait til you hear the new material before making your judgment on Hat Museum.
