Hassan Al Asmar (Arabic: حسن الأسمر) is an Egyptian chaabi (a.k.a. shaabi) singer and actor. He is widely known by his mawales and dramatic songs about the lives of simple Egyptian and Arabic citizens and such as the famous song Kitab Hayarti.
