Heavily influenced by punk, metal, hip hop, jungle, dance and techno, Harry Potar started to make stupid happy music with Protracker on Amiga 600 and a Yamaha keyboard. When he discovered rave party he naturally started to make hardtek, hardcore, breakbeat and drum and bass, playing live sets in free parties in S-W France and North Spain. He did his first releases in 2003 with Le Diable Au Corps, then with UndergroundTekno and Astrofonik. He also started his own labels : Magic Sauce and POPOPO. Trademarks : ultra-fat kick/bass combos, hooking melodies, electro synths, technical distorted breaks… He’s famous for his improbable remixes and bootlegs of music classics in all styles : from disco to classic, from metal to movie scores, from 80s pop to videogame music… He had the opportunity to play all across Europe and beyond, at notorious venues, mythic clubs, improbable places, huge festivals (Dour, Monegros, Masters Of Hardcore…). Harry Potar is one of the key artists of the hardtek scene. He plays both live set and DJ set. Live set for his timeproof OG hardtek performance, and DJ set for fresh and exclusive tracks, bootlegs, a new selecta at every gig.
