Artist
Harrison Brown is a songwriter presently living in Atlanta, Georgia. He finds it hard to believe that anyone cares where he was born and feels it is misleading to discuss influences. People do what they do and have literally billions of influences. Discussing the strictly musical ones leads to false conclusions. As Mr. Brown points out "An empty chair at a restaurant or a single glove left on a park bench may have a thousand times more importance than hearing "Love Me Do" for the first time." His songs tend to be topical, but not political. They tend to explore the personal conflicts and bewilderment of navigating the modern world and the resulting ironies. His characters seem more bemused or simply clueless rather than angry or bitter. In short, he's writing about everyone. There is the occasional love song, but those are as rare as hen's teeth.
