From harriettweed.com: An eclectic group that, for reasons unbeknownst to us but knownst to Harriet, comes together to form a song producing workhorse whose songs will lead you into the unknown blindfolded then speed away in a '69 Trans Am leaving you in the dark not knowing where you left that empty box of Chicken In A Biskit. Harriet Tweed formed in late summer of 2008 when songwriter Chris Lyso, bassist Dan Finch, guitarist Lance Douglas J., and drummer Matt Miller set out to create an original band that was not limited to one style or genre. Their dance along first single, "Festival", released in December 2008, immediately demonstrated their polarity by being packaged with the B-side "Cobra Kai", a pop-punk satire filled with quirky choruses and sing along gang vocals. The release of their debut full length, "100% Tweed" in May 2009 could be described as a "Jackson Pollock" of musical influences. Harriet Tweed further showcased their ability to cross genres with the October 2009 release of the 5 track Halloween EP, "Harriet Zombie'" featuring a mix of their hardest hitting skull crackers and their first acoustic releases. They continue to write and record at breakneck speed with the expected release of their second full length album, "The Cheese Stands Alone", in Spring 2010. With catchy hooks and edgy lyrics that embed themselves into the listeners' heads, Harriet Tweed has quickly established themselves as a serious contender. Their live show is no let down eithe
