Hard Core Logo isn't really a band per se, it is a pseudo Mockumentary about a punk band of the same name. The movie was directed by Bruce MacDonald, after being adapted from Michael Turners Book. It starred Hugh Dillon as Joe Dick, the self destructive, but ever entertaining lead singer of off again/on again Canadian punk concern Hard Core Logo. He unites the reunites the fragmented crew one more time for a cross country tour, allegedly in an effort to aid their long time hero Bucky Haight. It seems Bucky recently lost both his legs in a tragic accident and Joe wants to do right by him. Secretly he wants to recapture the magic that was Hard Core Logo. The music is solid and the movie is entertaining. What you see scrobbled here are a selection of tunes performed on screen by "The Band" and offerings from other Canadian acts for a compilation soundtrack that had nothing to do with the movie.
