Artist
Happy Refugees were a band based around Stoke On Trent and London and originally started out as a more a more punk oriented band with two names, Garage Class and The Pits. They released one now highly sought after single then moved on to Happy Refugees. HR dwell in a DIY / post-punk sound that's challenging yet poppy and accessible at the same time. Unfortunately, they went on to have only two releases, an LP in 1984 and a 7" single, both on Gymnasium Records.
