Hans Platzgumer (born 1969 in Innsbruck; real name Johann Platzgummer) is an Austrian writer, composer, musician and producer. His interdisciplinary approach to music is characteristic for his style. Platzgumer's first main musical phase was dominated by rock music. After his return to Europe, Platzgumer turned to electronic music. During this phase he released numerous albums and maxi-singles under his own name and under pseudonyms such as Aura Anthropica, Seperator or Fingerfood on labels such as Disko B, Cheap, L'age d'or, Hausmusik, Playhouse or Domino Records and began as a DJ to work in techno clubs.
