Hannah Chay is a true bedroom pop project. The band records their songs at a home studio in Vietnam and consists of Hannah (Lead Vocals) and Enay (Sound Producer). The debut single “It’s All Upside Down” was recorded in January 2021. With a wide range of genre influences, Hannah and Enay mostly get inspiration from the music of the 60s and 80s eras, such as Marvin Gaye and Aretha Franklin. The second single of the band “Under the Strain”, released in April 2021, combines a dreamy atmosphere with emotionally tense vibes. “It’s music for dreaming,” they say.
