Hang On features most of the members from the local band lefthandout including Tyler Principe (guitar/sax/vocals), Alec Galler (guitar/keyboard/vocals), Andrew Freed (bass/vocals), and Lee Hallett (drums/vocals). After lefthandout broke up in 2010, most of the members got together to form Hang On, at the hopes of taking their musical talents to the next level and creating a slightly new sound.
