Artist
American musicians Hamilton Leithauser (vocals) and Paul Maroon (guitar, keyboards), both originally from Washington, DC, gained prominence as members of American rock band The Walkmen (formed 2000 in New York, NY, United States), with which they released six studio albums of original material, plus a covers album, between 2000 and 2013. The band went on what they themselves called "extreme hiatus" in 2014. However, Leithauser and Maroon continued working together on and off, notably on the EP I Could Have Sworn (2015) and the album Dear God (2022). Both records were credited to Leithauser and Maroon as a duo. The Walkmen re-united for a tour in 2023.
