In a town infamous for its criminals, political and otherwise, frontman Parry Doogan, drummer Henry Rivera, and bassist Ben Tobolski craft the enormous rock sound that is Half Massive. Childhood friends, Doogan and Rivera were creating music long before the release of Half Massive’s 2004 acoustic album Time to Figure Things Out. Unsatisfied, they sacrificed their credit to the recording gear gods, and spent the next years writing and recording the 2007 release, Mindless/Sightless. It was around this same time that Ben Tobolski joined Half Massive, bringing his propulsive bass lines and technical expertise to the band. In 2009, the trio released the hard edged Let it Burn, cementing the Half Massive sound as reverent to all that is arresting about punk, alternative, and classic rock. Driving rhythms, charismatic riffs, and furious energy make Half Massive a rock show not to be missed.
