Artist
山崎ハコ (Yamasaki Hako, real name 安田初子, Yasuda Hatsuko, née 山崎) is a Japanese singer-songwriter and actress born on May 18, 1957 in Hita, Ōita Prefecture, Japan. A pioneer of the folk-boom in 1970s Japan, Hako Yamasaki has had an intensive output, releasing 22 albums from 1978 to 2011. After the folk-boom passed in the 1980s and Japan culturally moved to city pop, Yamasaki almost came close to homelessness due to the underwhelming sales of her albums.
