Artist
Hailey Hermida (born September 2007) is an American singer-songwriter and punk-pop artist. Originally from Garland, Texas, she began writing songs at age 13 during the pandemic as a way to process emotional chaos and navigate the world around her. Drawing inspiration from artists like Paramore, Avril Lavigne, Green Day, and Johnnie Guilbert, she quickly developed a sound that merges 2000s punk rock with raw, modern vulnerability. In 2023, Hermida made her live debut at The Mint in Los Angeles, igniting a passion for performance and setting the stage for a string of singles that would define her as a bold new voice in pop punk. Her breakout track, “sad boy shit” (2025), amassed nearly 200K views on YouTube and introduced her confessional lyrics and pop-punk edge to a wider audience. Her 2025 single, “straitjacket”, marks a deeper dive into punk-rock territory. The track channels early 2000s distortion-heavy guitars and angst-driven hooks reminiscent of “Pressure” and Korn’s “Y’all Want a Single”.
