Arizona’s electronic dance scene gave birth to Hades 2, a DJ and production duo consisting of two brothers, Jessmar and Jeff Romea, in late 2007. Since his DJ career began in 2001, Jessmar (born Jessmar Joseph Santos Romea on May 18th, 1981 in General Santos City, Philippines) has engraved himself as veteran of Arizona’s electronic music scene held in high regard. Perfecting his seamless mixing and programming skills, Jessmar generated his local recognition and countless performances alongside Arizona’s finest talent and touring superstars. In 2007 Jeff Romea (born Jeff Marvyn Santos Romea on February 13th, 1988 in General Santos City, Philippines) transitioned from avid listener into a promising new artist with a bright future in the Arizona scene. Jeff quickly found himself bound to the decks at numerous clubs and venues. Each has undeniably established their individual strength through years of dedicated study, discovery, and practice of their craft, but when these two artists come together the result is monumental. Through religiously following the hand written template that they have engineered defined as “The Elements of Funk,” this duo sets a high standard for artistry and mixing capability for themselves.
